Yesterday I met You Me At Six.

We went inside the Brixton Academy and they gave us pretzels haha and we were talking to a guy who worked there and he said that the people who were at the front of the queue had been queuing since 11:30 the night before! Then another guy was like you can’t get anything signed unless you have a pen and I believed him at first but he was only joking. We went in the hall bit with all the merch and they were all sitting there and they looked so perfect! We saw Matt first and I had that poster from Kerrang of them with the Kerrang award they won this year and he was like “they took loads of photos of us and they ended up using that one” and he didn’t like it haha aw. Then it was Dan and his hair looked fucking amazing blonde! I was so nervous I just said Hi and thank you after they’d signed my poster but they were so lovely and smiled and aw! Then it was Josh and he was like Hiya love and I died oh my god, he looked amazing! Then it was Chris and I love Chris and he was perfect and then it was Max and he was adorable! Then Rachel gave Max her letter but I hadn’t so I quickly put mine on the pile without him noticing haha

Then we went to get merch even though the people were like go get merch later and me and Rachel bought loads of stuff and the people selling it were like why are you buying all this! Then we went in the bar and were like oh my god I just met You Me At Six and then they let us into the concert hall bit and everyone just ran straight for the barrier and all the Brixton people were like DON’T RUN but everyone ignored them. 

We had the barrier all night, it was amazing! Lower Than Atlantis were really good! Mike Duce made us sit down and I have never been so squashed in my life, I thought my legs would like break or something! And the drummer kept looking at me hehe. Then it was Deaf Havana and they were really good as well!

And then it was You Me At Six. They were so perfect! Dan played topless all night and we were on Chris’s side and he was perfect! Josh was incredible! When he screamed Oli Sykes’s bit in Bite My Tongue oh my god it was amazing! I want him to scream more often! Everyone’s said that they’ve improved live and I didn’t think that was possible but they honestly have! They played Tigers and Sharks and I cried. They came back on for the encore and we were squished right up against the barrier but it was so worth it! 

And now I have bruises everywhere and I still have a ringing in my ears because we were right by the speakers but last night was the best night ever and I love You Me At Six so much and I’m so proud of them!
